Independence day special -freedom of light as you may call it - Sky is the limit, when you experiment with long exposures - a minor modification from the previous work in the same genre....i used a white background here...which creates a more positive vibe..if you notice more closely i have tried to use only shadows and highlights - eliminated midtones as much as possible....that is why such captures are generally high contrast - the really dark areas in the right middle are due to the light (directly) hitting at right angles to the lens plane

very artistically done, how did you achieve this one? Amazing shot...

@Babul Bhatt: all you need is a light source and a really really dark room with no stray lights as u dont want any midtones as i have mentioned above....the more creative the light source is, the much better the texture will look...like in this case i used a green 9 LED flash lamp and tht gave it the thread like texture....just shine the bright light at any angle(other than 90degrees) to the lens plane and try to iteratively decide a good shutter speed for the exposure...maximize ur dof also as u r only goin to be a feet or 2 in front of your lens....also make sure the area behind the light source is black...may be a cloth blanket......set the contrast in ur camera to max...there r a few other things tht you may improvise on the fly when u do a low light capture...finally invert it have fun
Interesting shot, great experience. Well done.
