@Eleonora: Bingo - i wanted to shoot firewrks in an abstract way - so set my exposure accordingly to capture the smoke left behind, after the blast - shutter speed had to be relatively fast , else the smoke would blur it all- this was just a sudden idea tht occured to me when i was thinkin abt finding a wrkaround to shoot fireworks without a tripod
