AestheticPosted by vasa (mountain view, United States) on 18 July 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. A piece of Indian jewelry - i wonder how they design these - so intricate- the shadows that u see were done using my fingers- used an incandesant bulb - also i over compensated the white balance in my camera to get the warm tones - the biggest challenge i faced, was the light reflecting from the stones in the jewelry - reduced the details- so i changed the orientation of the light so that the reflections were hitting outside the lens and not directly into it...a simple way to find out if reflected light is hitting your lens is to use a white cardboard in front of the lens and then placing a small mirror in front of tht...obviously an even more direct way wud be to upload the pics and see it on your computer....:):)
