Getting hooked onto HDR...i think its a grt concept...and the future of digi photography....my last 4 pics are all HDR's..found a more accurate way to do it than just using exposure bracketing....will implement that in the future...
For centuries painters have been able to achieve this...by using local contrast in their pictures....that is why some HDR photos look more like a painting...as this is not new to the art of painting... I wanted this one to look like a painting...hence the saturated colors and contrast...

You are right, but keep in mind, don't abuse HDR beyond what it was meant for. I have been using HDR for over 4 years and there are situation where the image is better off in LDR.
This one is perfect in HDR, well done.

By the way, I agree with you about hdr. Your comparison with painting is excellent. A painter looks into the shadows and the highlights and paints his "vision."
